May New York Magazine does a feature on David Geffen (DAVID GEFFEN IS HOT AGAIN). They mention Donna's new album, Produced by Quincy Jones, is playing during the interview.
"On the stereo is Donna Summer's next album, which Geffen assures me will be the big LP of 1982. He could be right. It sounds better than anything she's done before. And there's an expensive reason for that. She had recorded a double album produced by Giorgio Moroder. Geffen Did not like itand, in a move perhaps unprecedented in the record business, refused to issue it. Instead, he finally persuaded Quincy Jones to produce her, and he's proud of the result."
